Crime Victims Compensation Fund
The Crime Victims Compensation Program offers assistance to innocent victims of violent crime. All compensation offered through the program are for crime-related expenses i.e. funeral and burial costs, medical and mental health expenses, lost wages, loss of support, crime scene clean up, and temporary emergency shelter and relocation. All applicants must be the primary victim, as well as, a DC resident.
