A pioneer in clinical legal education, Georgetown Law has the largest, strongest, and most highly regarded in-house clinical program in the nation.
Georgetown has 19 distinct clinics, each of which provides students with the opportunity to learn the practical art of lawyering while providing quality legal representation to under-represented individuals and organizations. With over 300 students participating in a clinic annually, our program offers students a unique opportunity to serve the public; to explore career possibilities; to gain first-hand insight into the strategic and ethical dimensions of the profession; and to acquire the many skills and values needed for the practice of law.
