Inspection of residential dwellings are available by appointment. These inspections are conducted as a courtesy of the DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services (F&EMS) Department’s Firefighting Division. A copy of the inspection will be provided with suggestions. A follow up appointment may also be requested. Our goal in providing this service is to make sure that residential dwellings are free from fire hazards and safety violations. Call (202) 727-1614.
