Organization: Women's Collective

For women and girls, especially women and girls of color, living with HIV/AIDS and their families in the DC metropolitan area, including parts of Maryland and Virginia, TWC ensures access to care, services and resources in a culturally-appropriate context.

Core programs such as
- medical case management including referrals to doctors,
- support services to meet individual and family needs,
- prevention including HIV and Hep C screening and education
- support groups
- community health workers offering peer outreach connecting women and girls to medical care and safety net services
- comprehensive risk counseling services
- HIV counseling, testing and referral services (CTR)
- in-house services include a mental health provider, testing, coaching for treatment adherence, and case management services.
- referral programs connect women with medical care, food pantries, housing assistance, and more.
- We offer hot meals, a drop-in resource center with computers, clothing, special events, and holiday celebrations for our women and their families.
