Our programs conducted outreach to Southeast Asian communities in need of mental health education and services through media, workshops, and peer training.
In addition to outreach, BPSOS offered monthly educational workshops on different mental health- related topics, such as identifying symptoms, accessing available services, and learning about domestic violence to hundreds of constituents.
We also established programs that implemented and facilitated peer support groups. We also provided cultural competency and professional development training. In the past year, BPSOS provided 1,200 individuals with interpretation services.
