DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence
The DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence(DCCADV) is a coalition of domestic violence programs, organizations, and individuals organized to ensure the elimination of domestic violence in the District of Columbia. DCCADV staff track and analyze legislative and systemic activity impacting victims and survivors of domestic violence; educate policy makers; conduct research; collaborate with community-based organizations and stakeholders; lead advocacy efforts for funding domestic violence programs; develop briefing papers, reports and other public materials; and provide technical assistance and training on issues such as confidentiality, domestic violence laws, and barriers facing underserved populations namely victims who are LGBT or victims with disabilities.
