The Foundry United Methodist Church
The ID Ministry at Foundry, run by volunteers, seeks to restore to neighbors in need the documents necessary to obtain jobs, housing, education, or services in the community. We assist unhoused and low-income residents of Washington, D.C. who need a birth certificate, a D.C. identification card, and/or a replacement Social Security card. We don’t issue those documents ourselves — instead, we provide expertise and financial support toward getting those documents from the government agencies that do.
