Jobs Have Priority
Jobs Have Priority, Inc., (JHP) offers a men's shelter at Prince George’s House (PGH). While JHP’s mission is to help the homeless become employed, we recognize that employment is not a real possibility until the individual and/or family has achieved a basic level of stability. JHP’s first focus is to make sure our client’s basic needs are addressed. Once this is achieved, we start on education and employment solutions that are going to help our clients move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
Our Prince George’s House men's shelter provides:
• meals
• assistance with clothing and household essentials
• comprehensive case management
• wrap around services
• life skills, education and employment classes
Residents at PGH range in age from 17 to 73. They are veterans, young adults who have aged out of the foster care system, citizens returning from incarceration and men who are simply down on their luck.
OFFERED TO PRINGE GEORGE'S COUNTY RESIDENTS
Application: If you are in need of our shelter services, we require a referral from Community Crisis Services, which can be reached at 1-888-731-0999.
