Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless
Crafted as a homelessness prevention tool to preserve and improve affordable housing opportunities for low- and no-income District residents, AHI uses a combination of direct representation, systemic reform and policy advocacy to meet client and community needs. We represent tenant associations to enforce members’ rights and work with the District government to preserve existing affordable housing units, and promote policies and practices that respect the rights of low and no- income tenants.
